On June 22, 2023, IPC released the results of its North American Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Statistics May 2023 survey. The book-to-bill ratio was 0.89.
Total North American PCB shipments in May 2023 increased by 6.7% compared to the same month last year. Compared with the previous month, shipments fell 1.9% in May.
PCB orders in May increased by 4.1% from the same month last year, and bookings in May increased by 6.7% from the previous month.
In terms of performance, in 2022, the company will achieve an operating income of 969 million yuan and a net profit of 52.53 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 171.4%.
"The North American PCB market looks fairly balanced this month. Shipments remain strong, and we're seeing the first year-over-year increase in bookings since November 2022," said Shawn Du Bravac, chief economist at IPC
